Asma-ul-Husna
Asma-ul-Husna & Their Barakah in Islamic Healing
The Asma-ul-Husna (99 Beautiful Names of Allah) hold deep spiritual significance in Islam. Each name reflects a divine attribute of Allah — His mercy, power, knowledge, protection, healing, and guidance. Reciting these names with sincerity brings barakah (divine blessings), peace to the heart, and relief from emotional and physical distress.
In Quranic healing, the believer turns to Allah using His names, because Allah Himself commands:
﴿ وَلِلَّهِ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَىٰ فَادْعُوهُ بِهَا ﴾
And to Allah belong the Most Beautiful Names — so call upon Him through them. — Surah Al-A‘raf (7:180)
- We are commanded to call upon Allah through His Beautiful Names.
- Healing through Asma-ul-Husna is totally allowed and Islamic.
- Their recitation brings spiritual comfort and divine help.
